I began babysitting when I was 13 years old for family friends. When I was 15, I worked as a lifeguard and ran a summer art program for children that belonged to the pool for five years. I studied Art/Art History at Bloomsburg University, graduated in 2007 and realized I had a passion for teaching. I began substitute teaching at a school in Chinatown Philadelphia, and soon went back to school at St. Joseph's University for my Master's of Elementary and Special Education. I completed the Master's program in December 2011, and worked at the Free Library of Philadelphia as a tutor. The summer of 2012 I was a camp counselor at the Penn Museum, and currently substitute teach at Haddonfield Friends School.
