Erin was confirmed to babysit for us from 4-8 pm on saturday night. She emailed me at 1pm saying please call me or text me. When I did, there was no answer and no reply to my text. I didn't know what was happening. At 4h45 she finally texted to say that she had to go to the emergency because she cut herself on her leg and needed sutures (she did send me pictures). While I can totally understand that emergencies are unexpected, it would have been more professional to tell me right away at 1pmnthat she could not come make it, so I could've maybe find someone else on date night at the last minute. I had no idea what was happening, we were just left hanging. I had to cancel our reservations and I never heard again from her. I would question her reliability.
