I am an experienced mother and nanny. I am looking to babysit here and there for families in need of a night out on week nights and/or weekends. I love spending time and teaching kids of all ages. I will cook, clean, organize and leave your home looking great. I have several great references and I am CPR certified.

Ashley worked for us about two months 10 hours a week. We were hoping to move her to a more full time position in August but the fit was just not right for our family. She has a ton of experience with twins and truly seemed to adore our little guy and gal, but we had some problems communicating. As new parents and first time “employers” we know that this was our issue as well. Even though letting her go was a difficult conversation to have, we felt there were no hard feelings between us. When we had that talk, Ashley was already scheduled for the next day so we told her we would still pay her for that time as we wanted to do the right thing. When we paid her the last time (that very same night) there was a problem with our banks online payment system and she ended up getting two payments instead of one. Over the next 10 days or so we tried to contact her on 4 different mediums (each of our phones, email, and through SitterCity) to try to get that situation resolved but she refused to respond to any of these. We understand it’s an inconvenience for her and were willing to work with her in the case that she accidentally already spent that money. We had hoped that since we tried to do the right thing for her by paying her for time she was scheduled for that she would try to do the right thing for us by returning the money that was erroneously sent to her by the bank. While this type of situation may not be applicable to another family, we find it hard to recommend her despite her qualifications since this shows a lack of good judgment and/or moral character.
