Hi family! I'm here on sittercity to pick up an occasional gig to care for your kiddos. I used to a be a full time and part time nanny, with children ranging from newborns - teens. I have the most experience nannying with infants and toddlers. Currently I work for Whole Foods as a Culinary Instructor for ages 3-adult. I have loads of experience with elementary and middle school aged children in this area of work, as I help lead Cooking Camps for ages 6-13 all summer long. I currently work 2-3 days a week and am taking on babysitting and personal chef positions until the end of October, when I will begin working for a new restaurant. Lorna was such a joy to have in our home for the several months that she watched our baby (from 7 months - 12 months). We could tell from the beginning that she was professional, compassionate, and confident. She took initiative and looked for ways to improve the baby's schedule, her nutrition, and always kept things picked up and organized. Besides giving our daughter excellent care and giving us great advice, Lorna became a dear friend and we miss her now that she moved on to new opportunities. She will always be welcomed as a part of our family.

Lorna has been watching our boys (3, 2, and 7 months) part time for the last 1-1/2 months. We are still early on in our working relationship, but so far are absolutely thrilled. She is reliable and is great with the kids. She seems to handle the "bad" days quite well and is great at communicating back to us. She plans fun projects for the older two and is very comfortable handling the baby. So far so good!
