- Comfortable with pets
I have been a baby sitter and nanny for over 20 years and also spent 4 years in a private day care center. Taking care of young children, especially babies, is rewarding but sometimes challenging. Over the years, I have developed special techniques that prove useful in calming young babies, including the most restless ones. I take great pride in creating a safe, stimulating, and loving environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually. I love working with children and spending time outside, reading, crafting and singing songs! -I am reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling. -Can provide reference letter from my last family that I was with for 8 years. -CPR and First Aid Certified

Emily is an absolutely incredible nanny. When we hired her, we felt like we had hit the jackpot. Being a first-time mom heading back to work after my maternity leave, I was put completely at ease by Emily. I knew from day one that my son Gus (an infant) would be happy and safe in her care. In addition to being kind and good-natured, Emily is trust-worthy and reliable. She has always been on time or early. She also has always followed through with any requests we had for our son. When I arrived home from work each day, the house was neat and tidy… sometimes even more so than when I left! She cleaned bottles, did our son’s laundry, and kept his toys and room straight. Most importantly, Emily was gentle and attentive to our son. When she walked in the door in the morning, he would get a huge smile on his face. They became best friends so fast! It made me feel so good knowing that while I was at work he was having fun with her. She was a natural with him and helped us to quickly get him on a great daytime napping and eating schedule. All of this is to say that Emily is fantastic. We are unexpectedly moving out of state and we are heartbroken that she will not be our nanny any longer. She is definitely someone you would want to have with your children long-term, and we cannot say enough good things about her.
