I grew up with 5 siblings and it has always been an interesting and eventful experience. My youngest brother having a handicap I've learned how to care for special needs. I also worked at an elementary school with a special needs class for a couple of years, grades 3-5. After the day was done at the school I would then go to the towns recreational center where I then supervised a group of children at an after school program. We would have activities in the gym, homework help and snack time. The children and their well being were important to me and I truly did enjoy my job. After returning home from the military, I then helped my sister care for my niece who was less than a year old at the time.
