My name is Kendra, I received my B.S. at Northern Illinois University in Athletic Training. I will be taking my boards exam for the state sometime this year and will be going back for my Master’s Degree at NIU/residing in Dekalb, IL during this upcoming Fall Semester where I will also be a Graduate Assistant. As of right now, I am currently employed with ATI Physical Therapy. I enjoy watching movies, I love dogs (best animals in the world) and hanging out with friends from time to time while drinking different flavors of coffee. I have always enjoyed being around others, I knew at the age of 18 that I enjoyed working in the healthcare setting, and taking care of those in different age groups and populations and love working with children. I have been babysitting/nannying since I was about 16 years old and have been with one family (2 Read more kids) for over 5 years; I have had some experience in a daycare setting also and cared for children ranging from the ages of 5 months to around 13 years old. Can help with various tasks around the house such as light cleaning, cooking, helping with homework, potty training, dog watching, house sitting, etc. I am CPR/AED/BLS certified due to my career and major in college; it is by law that I am to update my certification every 2 years also! I am fully vaccinated and am up-to-date with the most recent booster shots. I am still working out my exact schedule for the fall semester in terms of classes and my GA position hours, but I am completely free on the weekends and will be free during some mornings before classes or some evening hours (Just depends on my schedule for the semester).
