Hello! My name is Avery Smith, and nurturing children is my true passion. Ever since I was little, whenever someone would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was always the same: I wanted to be a mom. I'm currently pursuing a degree in education and have been fortunate to spend the last four years as a camp counselor for children of all ages, along with a rewarding summer immersed in a daycare setting. My experience extends to interning with middle school students, but my heart really belongs to early childhood education. I am captivated by how young children absorb the world around them like little sponges, even before they start to speak. Their innate curiosity and eagerness to learn inspire me every day.
