"Wonderful Nanny Available in June/July 2024" Hello parents - I'm a nanny who is CPR certified, very caring, loving, responsible, respectful and reliable. When it comes to children, I provide love and excellent care. I've been taking care of babies and toddlers for the past 13 years. I am very observant when it comes to children. That way I can let the parents know if I suspect something is wrong with the child. I am very playful with children, but I allow them their space (to be independent) while still intervening(without hovering over them) so he/she doesn't feel neglected. I am a disciplined individual. I believe that as children grow older, they should be taught the difference between right and wrong, without yelling or spanking. I don't believe in doing either of the two! In a stern tone, I use words/phrases like "no", "not for you" or "not acceptable" when Read more referring to things/behavior. I just think that being a responsible caregiver for kids, is not only loving, playing, feeding, reading to them, but also teaching them right from wrong. It makes them more careful and keep them safe also. I enjoy doing fun activities with the kids; arts and crafts, reading, going to the park, exploring nature; getting dirty, going for walks, setting up playdates, playing and singing songs and taking them to their classes (music, gym, playgroup, storytime at the library). I love to do tummy time with babies and help towards reaching their milestones; introduction to soilds, sitting up, crawling, holding their bottles, walking, potty training, etc. I'm familiar with occupational and speech therapy as well. Also, I have no problem with housework related to the child (washing and sterilizing bottles, laundry, tidying up mess made during the day by myself and the baby) or meal prep related to the child(ren) only. At the end of the day, a child will never lack love, excitement or attention in my care. I am available for an interview. I drive also, so getting to work won't be a problem.
