If you’re looking for an HONEST, CARING, and EDUCATED nanny, than I, Michelle Wegesin would be an excellent addition to your family. I am a 32 year old mother of 3 beautiful girls who are my everything! I am hoping to find a family to work with that will allow me to watch their children at my house. My husband works Monday through Friday and I would love to help add an extra income to our house by doing what I do best, entertaining and educating children. I believe that having children around other children helps to enrich their lives and assist them in learning about sharing and caring for others. My daughters have been raised with other children from the beginning and I would like to keep the tradition going by finding another family to watch. I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and have worked as a Read more babysitter (ages 3 months to 12 yrs), nanny (3 yrs to 9 yrs), one-to-one aide (5th, 7th, & 8th grade), teacher & substitute teacher (3rd, 5th, 7th, 8th, & high school), tutor, rehabilitative mental health specialist (3yrs to 18 yrs), and cottage manager at a children’s home (3yrs to 18 yrs). In each role, I pride myself in ensuring that each child is safe and learns on a social, emotional, and educational level. I make sure that every environment I work in includes: laughter, routine, and a set of consequences that the children know off the bat! I have worked with groups ranging from 1 to 24 and while working as a cottage manager, I lived in and oversaw a residence with 5 to 10 children ranging from age 4 to 18. Through all of my experiences, I carried over the belief of: having things planned so that there would be a lesser chance of issues arising and, therefore, giving the kids a chance to realize just how much fun they can have with an array of activities. I also turn outings and events into adventures! Walks turn into hunts for different leaves or bugs, zoo trips can be scavenger hunts for different animals, and games can be played just for fun or an extension to see whose skill levels have become more rounded. Every day, an activity can be turned into a lesson of fun where the children can learn something about their surroundings or themselves! If my background, and abilities to turn everyday into a day of fun and learning, sound like what you would be looking for in a nanny, then please feel free to email me or contact me at 708 557 1791.
