Hello! My name is Carolyn Whalen. I am a sophomore at the University of Kansas studying Speech-Language Pathology. I am from Frankfort, IL and graduated from Lincoln-Way East High-School in 2020. I am a very energetic, fun, caring and responsible individual. I have 5 years of child experience, from my employment at Lincoln-Way Special Recreation Association. At this organization I worked a variety of programs, ranging from swim lessons to summer camp. This job also gave me the opportunity to work with a variety of ages, from 3 years to 16. I worked with and organized activities for children and adolescents with disabilities. This job taught me great leadership skills, and people skills.
