I have worked with kids for many years now. In high school I was a cheerleading coach for the local recreational team. I loved being able to watch the girls grow over the four years and help them grow as a team and as individuals. During high school I also worked as a tutor in a Kumon tutoring center. I worked with kids primarily ages 5-10. I have a passion for helping kids learn, so being a tutor really pushed me towards majoring in elementary eduction in college. In the summer of 2017 I worked at a summer camp in Illinois called Barrington Keep Program. I was the assistant group leader for grades two and three. My job was to create activities for the kids to participate as well as ensure safety for all kids.
