Hi I would like to start by my experience with over 5+years in this field I gain an excellent amount of knowledge in child development and each ages milestone. Knowing at a young age I wanted to work with children it amazed me and also which took me to learn all into child development and getting certified in Cpr and first aid. I’ve taken over 4 courses in child development and Honors classes in Spanish. I am bilingual. Aside from that I love taking care of children and helping them grow and learn everyday. I am very patient with children, punctual and organized, but most importantly making sure they are safe and cared for. I started with my siblings who I cared for since they were both born , I learned to make their formula , feed them, bathe , change diapers. Then, went to taking care of my cousins Read more and family friends for date nights and occasional weekends. All under 17 years old. I got my first job in the child development field at a home daycare , where I cared for 5 children of mixed ages. Ranging from 4 months- 3years old. I learned to care for multiple children at once and each of their development. We had a set schedule we would follow and everyday had a small lesson I presented to them. Each day was a different number, color and letter that would follow with a book, it was a play based learning I was there for about a year and a half. My first nanny position was with a wonderful family who I am currently with for a little closer to two years, unfortunately they are moving and as to why I am looking to join another great family soon! I feel as though my time is valuable and it’s a blessing to do what I love , my pay range I am asking is between $19-25 an hour.
