My name is Kaitlin Burgett. I grew up and currently reside in Glenview. I am licensed Special Education teacher who has worked with children of all ages. While I was a student attending high school, I became interested in assisting students with special needs and was a successful member of the Peer Group program there. I have experience as a nanny/caregiver for several children, including children with various needs. Some of my duties included driving to activities, appointments, homework, cooking, artwork, play dates, library, classes, sports and Special Olympics participation. My focus is developing a relationship with both the child and the family with an emphasis on the care, needs and safety of the children. My passion is having a positive influence on the child to assist in guiding their development. I enjoy caring for others, and find it so rewarding to play a key role in a child's development. Read more I'm sensitive to a child's needs and will build an engaging and diverse day around their interests. A strong skill of mine is to tailor my caregiving style to mesh with the child's personality and temperament.
