Hi there! My name is Emily. I am currently working from home as a teaching assistant for a therapeutic day school in Chicago. My schedule is very flexible and I have a lot of free time so I want to be able to help out families and relieve some stress for parents! I understand that this is a very stressful time for a lot of families so I would like to do anything I can to help such as babysitting. I have plenty of experience working with children whose ages range from 6 weeks to 12 years old. I also have experience working with children with special needs and behavioral issues. I worked as a camp counselor for 6 summers and I have a lot of experience working with children in schools. I was also a part of a children's wellness program in Memphis Tennessee. I graduated from Bradley University Read more in May, 2019 with a bachelor's degree in social work and a minor in Spanish. My future goal is to work in schools and focus on mental health in children. Those summers as a camp counselor taught me how to be fun and creative and think quickly on my feet. I am also extremely organized and physically active. I go for a run every day so I will definitely be able to keep up with the kids! I also put in 100% effort into any task that is given to me and I have a great positive attitude.
