I started babysitting when I was 8 years old. I babysat for neighbors and family friends. I also grew up with younger siblings who are also twins. We are 11 years apart and I spent a lot of time caring for them. I then became a live-in nanny while earning my undergraduate degree in Psychology. I was responsible for two sets of twins, age 9 and 3. I was then an out of home nanny for a 1-year-old, 5-year-old, and a 7-year-old while earning my master's degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology. I have worked for a Crisis Nursery as a child care worker and have also worked at a church as a Nursery Coordinator. I also worked as a Child Protection Specialist for DCFS.
