A’Shunti watched my son for two weeks. She did a good job keeping him entertained and getting him to and from preschool. Meal prep was very limited (need to provide specific instructions), she seemed to shy away from correcting or redirecting my son if he said or did anything he shouldn’t, and she texted me about 40 minutes before she was supposed to show up one day to let me know she accepted another position and wouldn’t be coming. I fully supported her looking for a more long-term post while helping us out for a few weeks, but 24 hour notice would have been more considerate.
