Although I am currently a sophomore at the University of Kentucky, I have been babysitting in the Crystal Lake area since I became Red Cross certified at the age of 14. I loved working with children so much, that at the age of 16, I got a job at a kid’s gym. Here, I worked as a gymnastics coach, camp counselor and birthday party host. The age ranged from 6months up to 15 years old and groups of up to 14 kids at once. I worked here, at Elite Kids, until I was 20. I have also volunteered as a cheerleading coach through the Raiders park district program since the age of 14. I continued my volunteering with children in college, where I tutor high school students weekly. I have always loved working with kids and have many years of experience doing so. Living on a college campus during the Read more year makes me miss seeing little ones around, and I would love nothing more than to work with a family this summer!
