Hello there! My name is Samantha! Last spring, I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education that had an emphasis in Elementary Education and English. Working with children is my passion and I’d loved to work with you to ensure that your children are reaching their milestones. Through this time working together, I’d love to learn new things about taking care of children and bettering myself as a caregiver. Here is a list of paid child-care that I have done in the past: • Fall/Winter of 2020: I was the nanny for a 3 y/o girl and 1 y/o boy. Day-to-day activities included: preparing snacks/meals, light housekeeping, doing diaper changes, organizing nap time, and engaging in age-appropriate activities. • 2021-2023: I was a nanny for 2 upper elementary/early teen girls. Day-to-day activities included: preparing snacks/meals, housekeeping, running errands, ensuring the girls’ independent growth, helping with homework, and doing fun Read more activities. • I also enjoy babysitting for family friends whenever needed. (ranging from ages 2-12 yrs old) From 2018-2020, my family was the main caregiver for my toddler cousin. I was very involved and learned to see the world through a toddler’s eyes. We spent much time playing/learning together, as well as doing diaper changes/potty training. I also have experience doing volunteer work with children at my church during my high school and college years. During the weekends, you can find me at my church nursery and involved in children’s programs.
