Hello, I am Ariana Zasada, 25 years old, and currently a Special Education Teacher. I have my LBS1 certification and obtain my Bachelor’s degree at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. During my college years, I was a daycare teacher assistant at the SIU Child Development Center. I worked in the infant to school-aged classroom. Some of my duties include assisting with planned activities, reading to the children, supervising children in the classroom and on the playground, and preparing classroom materials and bulletin boards. I also assisted with basic care of the infants such, as diapering, feeding, and nap times. Currently, I am a teacher at an Autism Therapeutic Day School. My role and the schools mission is to provide an academic and social learning environment for students with special needs that supports their individual strengths and learning styles and integrates learning and interaction within Developmental Language Models and Developmental Individual-Difference Read more Relationship (DIR®) based approach principles. Overall, I enjoy working with children of all ages. I love teaching but I want to try something new and different. It would be a pleasure to work with a great family and be able to help and bring what I’ve learned throughout the years!
