Hi! I am 34 years old, live in Manhattan. Been babysitting for as long as I can remember. My mom is a home birth nurse /midwife so I would go with her, if they had kids already I would entertain them while my mom would help bring their new sibling into this world. Grew up in a Christian family with 6 other siblings. Started working with kids again consistently in 2013, where I started off in daycare at a fitness center in New Lenox. There I would care for anywhere between 1-18 kids at a time. Unfortunately the fitness center closed in 2015 but luckily I was able to keep in touch with a lot of the mothers that went there. Started a nanny position quickly after the closing and that was for a family of 3 (ages at the time were 3, 5, and 8). Also been doing PRN Read more work for other family’s since then as well. Things are slowing down since covid so I have some more time open and looking for other work if possible. I took 2 years of child development and am CPR certified in infant, child, and adult. I have plenty of referrals so don’t mind supplying as many as needed upon request.
