I am a pre-medical student currently finishing my master in human nutrition at Columbia University Medical Center. (I am applying to medical schools for 2023, so I will be available from this Summer/early Fall - late June.) I was raised by veterinarian parents on a small farm with many animals in rural Illinois. I cared for all kinds of animals, big or small, healthy or sick. My childhood has instilled in me a deep desire to care for others as well as the discipline to take this responsibility seriously and the ingenuity to solve problems independently. I have baby sat for toddlers and pre school children before and had a great time building friendships and trust while discovering their unique personalities. My strong academic background in the sciences (chemistry major) and the humanities/writing/reading (philosophy) gives me the skills to be a competent tutor. I would also be excited to work Read more with you to improve your children's diets if you desire, but am also content to continue as usual. Additionally, I worked for a year as a volunteer EMT and know CPR. If you are interested, I would love to chat with you so you can get to know me better!
