My name is Allison and I'm a recent college graduate of the University of Wisconsin Madison. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in History, and am trying to get into the field of museum work, but want to do something else in the meantime as I get that all started. I moved to New Orleans not too long ago and have been looking for all types of work and thought I would give nannying a try. I'm the oldest of 3 siblings and the second oldest of 15 grandchildren, so I've dealt with my fair share of watching and taking care of the younger kids. I have experience watching those in my own family, as well as neighbors and friends children throughout the years. During my past four college years, I didn't do as much of babysitting younger children as much as taking care of older adults. I am a Read more Certified Nursing Assistant, or CNA, and have done home health aide work taking care of people and helping them out with their daily routines of life. My clients have aged from young adults all the way up to older adults and grandparents. As much as I enjoy working with this older population, I do however also love working with younger children, infants, and toddlers. My hope is that my experience with a vast variety of ages and people will help me to take the best care of your children for you.
