Hello! My name is Marisa and I am a local to the Bloomington-Normal area. For the past 4 years I have been working at a local toy store. During my time there I have been able to create countless activities for the children in our community. One of my favorite being the Summer of Kindness program, this program encourages random acts of kindness within our community from the youth of Bloomington-Normal. Throughout the summer I was able to facilitate crafts and activities that reflect positive actions and attitudes about others and ourselves! Prior to my work at the toy store, I worked for 3 years at my local after school program where I supervised children ages 3-12! These experiences strengthened my understanding of the power of play and imagination!
