Meet Kara

I am the oldest of 4 children and have helped care for my younger siblings. I am often responsible for helping my youngest brother, a 2nd grader, with remote learning. I keep his day on schedule and oversee him to ensure he completes his daily assigned tasks. Additionally, I have babysat a range of children from age 1 to 11 for more than 4 years. While children are in my care, I ensure that they are provided healthy snack or meal options and I help to provide a structured routine with fun and educational opportunities. As a senior in high school, I organized activities and was responsible for more than 50 plus kids at extended time care at Elementary School. Currently, I am pursing a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana State University. I am passionate about the care and well-being of children and often choose classes that allow Read more me to learn more about them, such as child development. I'm also a nanny for 2 loving girls in 2nd grade and 6th grade. I pick the girls up daily from school, ensure they attend their after school activities, prepare snacks, help with light household chores, and oversee the girls as they complete their homework.
