I am graduating from Brigham Young University at the end of this April 2017 with a degree in communication disorders and a minor in Spanish. I am taking a gap year before attending graduate school to pursue a master's degree in speech pathology. My education has been geared towards and I am very knowledgeable in speech and language development, both typical and atypical development. I have a passion for this area of life, especially growth in children! During my years in college, I have maintained a well-rounded lifestyle. I regularly volunteer with children with special needs. I can play five instruments, but have put my focus into playing the Spanish classical/flamenco guitar. Attending school in Utah has enabled me to live an active life. I enjoy being outdoors and working out. I love to find and try new things! I am interested in caring for one child full-time this summer. Read more I would love to take advantage of the many opportunities Chicago has for children to learn and experience new things.
