My love and passion for the care of children began when I was in my own adolescence. I loved watching and playing with the younger kids at family functions, which later deemed me the family babysitter once my family realized how well I worked with their children. I started out caring for my 10 month-old, 2, 4, and 7 year-old nephews and nieces. During that time, educational books and games were a big part of our activities, along with music, arts and crafts, homework help, and exercise. I am a firm believer that a child given the opportunities to learn and grow into their own unique talents become more well-rounded adults.
