I am currently a freshman studying food science at Auburn University. I have been babysitting all throughout middle school and high school for both large and small families. In addition to babysitting, I have been a camp counselor in charge of creating active games and teaching simplified cooking classes for middle schoolers. I grew up in a large family surrounded by children and have been used to caring for children, cooking meals, and cleaning households. I am extremely active, artistic, and I love the outdoors! I also participated in Mock Trial, National Honors Society, Spanish National Honors Society, Ambassadors, and much more. I also had had the pleasure of serving with several volunteer organizations. I was a volunteer camp counselor for the West Suburban Special Recreation Association where I assisted special needs pre-schoolers with daily activities and weekly swim lessons. Mary Jo is an absolutely amazing babysitter! She has cared for both my 4 year old daughter and my 1 1/2 year old son. The kids are completely in love with her as are we. She was the primary caretaker for the baby for about two months this summer and she did a great job getting a very picky boy to eat. She kept the kitchen and toys picked up, was always on time with a smile on her face. She is very patient and engages the children in age appropriate activities. The two of them together are a whirlwind but it doesn't even phase Mary Jo. We wouldn't hesitate to hire her again and neither should you.
