Hello, For over nine years, I have been a responsible and loving caregiver to infants and toddlers. I am attentive to your baby and very affectionate. With your guidance and direction, I will try to help you optimize your baby’s development as he or she moves through their milestones. I was the Assistant Teacher in the Infant Room (ages 6 weeks through 24 months) of a highly-regarded Pre-School in Oak Park, IL for five years, where I was responsible for one to three children at a time. When the pandemic hit, I became a devoted nanny to a family in Oak Park, children now aged 3 and 5 years old. For almost two years, we had a wonderful time planting flowers, building snowmen, and visiting splash pads; but, sadly, they moved out of the area. For the past two years, I have been caring for an adorable, now 2 1/2 Read more year-old little girl and her ten-month-old sister. Unfortunately this family has also moved away. So I am looking for a new infant to care for and love. I enjoy experiencing the world with children as they learn and grow, through creating art, exploring nature and parks, visiting libraries and reading, singing songs, and engaging in imaginative play/pretending. I am active and energetic, whether hiking with my family and dogs, crawling on the floor with babies, or dancing with toddlers. I love more than anything to make a child laugh! I have a Masters’ degree in Social Work (MSW, ‘86) from University of Illinois in Champaign, IL. I am COVID-19 vaccinated and boosted. I have experience with, and am comfortable with, parents working from home. I have my own car. I love all animals. My references are stellar. I am available Monday-Thursday.
