24 year old, full time student, studying criminal justice administration in law enforcement. I do take online classes so my availability during the week is never an issue. I've had experience in Nannying and babysitting since I was in about 6th grade. From working with my mom when she was a Nanny, to watching over infants, toddlers, and teens on my own. everything from feeding, napping, burping, changing, bathing, potty training & teaching basic skills. Every family I've babysat or nannied for, has had a household pet, in which i'd let outside, feed as scheduled, & gave medicine to as needed (I also have experience as a veterinary technician) After high school was when I had my first official, hourly pay, day to day Nanny job consisted of a family of 4; mother, father & 2 children ages 1 & 2 when i started, with 3 very large dogs. I Read more worked for the family for quite some time as well as developed a close relationship with the family. my position as their Nanny after they were expecting their third child and their schedules changed to stay at home. My main duties were getting the children up, meal prepping, light cleaning, dressing, and playing and teaching children basic education and preparation with the older child to get her ready for pre-school. My experience with infants are: getting a regular sleep pattern, feeding, burping, swaddling, bathing, and anything upon parents requests. I’m currently employed by the Village of River Grove in the recreation department where the position is very child friendly/public event based where we host a ton of events for the community, however due to COVID, we are unable to function at the moment as our events are normally over capacity due to popular demand and the fact that we normally host indoors, so my availability is more open during the winter and spring season until further notice. I am CPR certified as well. Willing to start ASAP. Also open to picking the children up and watching over them in my home so parents can get quiet, alone time if thats needed!!
