One of my first jobs was as a babysitter for a family friend. Having the pleasure of looking after two toddlers under the age of 4 was surely tough at the time being that I was only about 17 years old. But soon enough that pressure turned into pure compassion once I began to realize that I was only a small piece of a village bonding together to help mold the minds of two intelligent beings. Since then I have gone on to work in food services and retail stores, but nothing else gives me that feeling of satisfaction like knowing that the things I teach a child today can assist in guiding them down a path of greatness for the rest of their future.
