I'm an empty nester, a mom of an almost 21 year old who is away at college. Besides having over 20 years of motherhood experience I also babysat as a teenager and I was a Girl Scout leader for 13 years working with girls from the age of 5 up to seniors in high school who were 18. I did have 1st aid and CPR certifications throughout my Girl Scout leader years but these have both expired in the last couple years. I'm in the process of finding classes to update my certifications again. Taking care of your children will help to fill the gap between being a mom and possibly becoming a grandmom some day. :)
