I have been nannying for 5 going on 6 years and have been absolutely loving it. I worked for a family with 3 kids ages, 1 1/2, 4, and 5 years old, for 2 years. I was responsible for making sure the 4 year old stayed on task for his preschool zoom class, the same goes for the 5 year old for her school done over zoom. While the two did school I also watched the 1 1/2 year old and played games or did fun activities with him. I made sure to make all three of them breakfast and lunch along with snack if they were still hungry. Sadly, I was no longer needed stopped working for them. Over the past 3 years I have been working for another family with three kids ages 7, 9, and 10, and this experience has definitely been a change of pace. I Read more am responsible for making sure they are ready for school in the morning (includes breakfast and making lunches for school) and then picking them up in the afternoon and watching them for an additional hour or so. They are very energetic kids so I’m always on my feet with them but I don’t mind because they make it worth my while.
