Hello! My passion is caring, protecting and nurturing the young, the old and those with special needs. This passion started at a very young age. By the time I was 11 years of age, I babysat after school and on weekends full-time. My spare time was often used by reading to the elderly at the local retirement home, writing congress on behalf of endangered species and helping neighbors and my family with chores. As time went on, I never lost the passion for taking a genuine interest in helping and caring for others as I would want to be looked after. I have worked with many non-for-profit organizations over the past 41 years in many positions from volunteer to co founding and Executive Director. These agencies ranged from feedinhung and clothing the less fortunate to crisis pregnancy. I took a particular interest in client services and working with first time parents. My greatest accomplishment and joy has been giving life to my daughter and raising her to be a beautiful determined young lady. My daughter was born 24 years ago with her own special challenges. The first couple of years not only consisted of loving, prioritizing, and caring for a life, but working with a special teams of professionals to start a lifetime of positive behaviors and continual growth physically, mentally, intellectually and spiritually! It has been a great journey and I would never have wanted it any other way. At this time in my life working with a more personal and hands on care is where my heart is most happy. My style and care is professional, genuine and well rounded. I will become a part of your team that will work together to provide the best care for all involved. My last Nanny position was caring for a infant and a three year old. My duties included light housekeeping, vegetarian meal preparation, taking toddler to speech therapy and accompanying the toddler off the school bus. I found this be rewarding and joyful experience. A Nanny, Babysitter and Caregiver position takes a very special person to fill because you are replacing the parents and entrusting your home and most precious gift,your children, in our hands. Hi I'm Emma Ernst and I'm a sophomore and the University of Kansas. I have recently made the switch to online schooling for the semester. I am studying biology on the Pre Medicine track with the end goal being Pediatric Oncology. As you can imagine I love working with children and have been doing it for a while now. I have previously been around children of all ages and have worked at children's camps and babysat. I am CPR and First Aid certified as well!
