Melanie V.

Melanie is an amazing caregiver and I would highly recommend her. Her most compelling quality is that she is able to engage children of all ages and is highly interactive. We have 5 children, ranging in age from 9 months to 7.5 years. Melanie has been sitting for us regularly since October: approximately 13 hours per week for 3 months. Melanie sings songs to our twin babies (currently 9 months) and is comfortable holding, changing, and feeding them. She speaks to my toddler (21 months) with excellent enunciation so she can grow her vocabulary. My older children (7 and 6) love her and she is able to play creatively with them and draw them out so they really talk to her. Everyone looks forward to the days when Melanie is scheduled to come over. Melanie primarily helps me with all the different needs around the house but has also watched all 5 children alone. She is punctual and very responsible. It is important to her that she does things excellently and she has adapted quickly incredibly well to our busy household. She is also willing to do things around the house to be helpful.
