My name is Kathy Sobkowicz-Garcia. I am 100% Polish born here and I do speak the language. I am married for almost 10 years in January. I don’t have children but I do have dogs. I've always had a passion for teaching and taking care of children. I AM ALLERGIC TO "CATS" (just letting you know so we don't waste each other's precious times) I have an extensive background in Childcare. Ages range from Newborn up to age 16. I am very dependable and responsible. I am energetic, have a well rounded personality, up for challenges of any kind, honest, thoughtful, and very creative. I studied Early Childhood Education for 6 years. I also taught in a preschool for 3 years, specializing mainly in children aged, newborn to 18 months. I also worked for Northfield Nannies for 8 years. I did general babysitting on the side for Northfield Nannies as Read more well as being placed with permanent homes as a come and go nanny. The most I took care of was probably 4-5 kids at a time. I started sitting at the early age of 11 and have also tutored children in ESL. I also helped out w/ Cub Scouts & Boy Scouts for several years. I have lots of nieces and nephews that I also watched them and cared for them. I have sat for my friends, newborn children as well as for their older siblings. I have also had a few sittercity families that call on me from time to time for evenings, weekends and overnights.. *My main focus will definitely be on your child but if there is time (when child is sleeping) I will pick up toys, vacuum, do dishes, laundry, etc. ) I also will cook, help with bathing, proper hygiene, homework and make sure they have fun and are safe. *I am flexible and reliable. Thank you so much for visiting my page and I hope I can work out for you. **I also do alot of overnight sitting, weekends sitting . I also go on vacations w/ the family to help out w/ childcare if needed. I can make meals for the kids, give them baths and even send them off to school for you! (if you and your husband want to go away for the weekend) and I do light chores. (laundry, toy pick up, light housekeeping)

Kathy is punctual, friendly, and dependable. She got along well with my 1.5 year old daughter by playing with her and engaging her in various activities. I hope to have her sit again in the future!

Kathy was on time, and children had a great evening with her. She made sure all the toys were put away and all the instruction were followed. We were confident to leave the children with her. Thanks Kathy
