My name is Allysa and I am in pursuit of my Bachelor's degree with my major being in Early Childhood Education. I have about 8 years worth of experience working with children. I started out working in a preschool located in my high school when I was 15 years old as a student aid, and did that until I graduated. That's really when I figured out what I wanted to do with my life and that being a teacher was the path I wanted to go down. Since then, I have worked as a nanny, assistant teacher, a substitute teacher, and a lead teacher in several daycares and schools. I have worked with infants and all the way up to the higher elementary grades. I also have experience working with specials needs children, such as being on the autism spectrum, learning delays, and Down Syndrome. Looking after children and teaching them the ways of life gives me satisfaction like nothing else can because you get to watch them grow and learn. It is an honor for me to play such an integral role in a child's life.

Allysa worked as a full-time nanny for our twin daughters from the time they came home from the hospital until after their first birthday. Our twins were born premature and spent two months in the NICU so we were very nervous to leave them when we returned to work but Allysa set our mind at ease. She is calm under pressure, very dependable, and adapted quickly to anything we asked of her - from logging details of our daughters' food and sleep to preparing food for them as they got older. Allysa worked with them to help them meet important developmental milestones and would entertain them with songs, books, and trips around the neighborhood. Our daughters would light up each morning whenever Allysa walked in the door. We look forward to continuing to hire Allysa for date nights and would recommend her to any family looking for a great nanny.
