- Comfortable with pets
- Has a car
In my over 15 years as a nanny I've worked with 3 families and all varieties of children. Fun, creativity, reading, and music are imperative! Scavenger hunts, nature walks, trips to museums & zoos, and crafts are ways I've gotten children to have a lot of fun while learning. I love to supplement fun and structure while parents are working but I don't believe in physical discipline. I help children learn responsibility with age appropriate chores and believe in treating them with respect while remaining firm and fair. Excellent references available. I have experience with children on the Autism spectrum and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis & assisting with necessary occupational and physical therapy exercises. I also have experience with Celiac Disease & food allergies.
