Hello Families! My name is Karime. I speak Spanish and English as a second language and I am a fun, loving, caring, responsible, and reliable professional educator. While working with children I like to create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment in which the children are able to express themselves freely. I allow them to choose activities and build on their interests in order to challenge them; while also keeping activities age and developmentally appropriate. I strive to support the development of each individual child, and build a partnership with parents to support their wants, needs, and values. I have been working as a nanny for 18 years and in Downers Grove for the last 15th years, with a family with two kids. I started with them when the first kid was an infant. For the last 8 years I have been working part time with different families, I worked Read more 5 years with a family with one boy I started when he was 3 months old until he was 5 years old and then one more family with one girl, I started working with them when she was 4 months, now she is 2 1/2 years old. Unfortunately they Move to Oswego and it is too far. I will be done with both families this July. I am ready for a new adventure and start a full time nanny with a new family.
