My experience with College Mentors for Kids, Inc. afforded me an opportunity to provide counseling, safety and life skills for at-risk students. I began volunteering at a very young age, and have always been passionate about Community Service. I have experience working with people from all backgrounds in crisis. I experience working in an office setting. I am very organized, able to mulit-task, and works well on a team and with other staff members. My professional experiences have allowed me to assist families and clients with various needs. My educational background is solid in the areas of child development, health and safety and special needs. I have completed courses in Read more Educational Psychology, Family and Consumer Sciences, and most of my background is in Education. My experience has been to provide excellent customer service, answer questions and concerns, and make referrals to other agencies and community resources. My volunteer experience has provided me experience to see the role of volunteers and how important they are to non-profit organizations.
