Hello! I'm Lisa and I am a Nanny/Early Childhood Educator with over 30 years experience teaching and caring for children. Currently, I am teaching in a preschool while looking to join a Houston family for a long-term nanny position. I graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington, with degrees in Education, English and Journalism. My childcare experience has been with children ages newborn to 6 years, including children with varying degrees of learning and behavioral differences. Teaching and caring for children runs in my family -- both my parents, as well as many aunts and uncles, are educators, and it is my passion. I am responsible, compassionate and patient and treat children with the love and respect they require and deserve. I am committed to providing children with intellectual stimulation and developmentally appropriate activities. I believe in lots and lots of reading and outside time and no "screen time" for young children.
