Hi! I'm a childcare professional currently working as a Special Education Classroom Assistant with CPS. In this position, I care for a brilliant 6 year old boy who is visually impaired and on the autism spectrum, helping him navigate through the school day. Prior to that, I held a summer internship with the Chicago Children's Theatre's Camp Red Kite, providing artistic experiences for those on the autism spectrum. Other experience includes my time spent as an aid in a 4th grade classroom, serving as an assistant for a summer program at a Montessori school(supervising and caring for children ages 2-6), and working as an assistant stage manager for a children's theatre company(supervising 15 children ages 7-18). I have a car available, so if you need help transporting your kids, that won't be a problem. I'm also willing to do light housework, meal prep, etc. as needed. My background is in Read more the arts, so I'd be happy to come prepared with crafts or other forms of entertainment if you'd like.
