I have two married daughters with 6 grandchildren between them. I adore my grands. I have been with my current family for three years. I started when the oldest was 8 weeks old. They are now 3 and 1. And one on the way. They have decided to put them in daycare. My schedule was flexible with them, if their schedule changed at work, I would accommodate them. Never called in sick. I fixed meals, did the kids laundry and would mend torn clothes or stuffed animals. I snuggled them and provided care when they were sick. I also started meals for the family. I was like a grandmother to the boys. We played outside a lot. Summer was water play with bubbles and growing vegetables which the oldest then liked to pick and eat.
