Hello, My name is Danielle Calhoun, and I am currently In the process of relocating to the FW area, I am currently seeking a full or part time position to fill in my schedule. I have earned a CDA Certificate in Early Childhood Education, and am pursuing my Degree in Education. I have been CPR and First aid certified with TB clearance. My interest in Early childhood education as a profession started when I was in High school. I have always loved working with children. Since I started in this field, I have obtained over 15 years of work experience in both private and professional child care settings. I have worked as a private nanny for 3 years. I have interned and volunteered at my church nursery, I have also worked as a substitute teacher for various ages ranging from elementary to middle school. Before moving to Northeast Indiana I Read more was a lead teacher for a preschool in San Diego. Most recently I have been working as a private educator/homeschool teacher,and Nanny. All of these experiences have only added to my desire to pursue my dream of working with young children and helping them develop into all that they can be for the good. I enjoy the job of being a Nanny because it allows for me to use what I have learned from teaching and attending school on a more personal level, and to create a meaningful connection with the child(ren) under my care, and the families I will be working with.
