I wholeheartedly recommend Cheryl B as a nanny/babysitter. She has worked for me for about a year as my back up nanny/babysitter, and she really does have a special gift with children. I have called her many times, at a moment's notice, to work 2-12 hour shifts, day or night, and she has been there for me. I have seen her play with my four-year-old son for as long as an hour with something as simple as a piece of tape, with the two of them giggling and laughing the whole time. She is extremely patient and calm, and can slow down easily to a child's level and speed, such that he or she can feel very comfortable and secure. My son trusts her completely, and he tends to be an anxious child. Cheryl is also extremely good at facilitating imaginative play with children, which is so important to their development. On another note, Cheryl is very responsible and professional, and I believe she has actually only been late one time! Every time she has even thought it might be a possibility that she might be late, she has ALWAYS called AHEAD to let me know, and in each of those cases, she has almost always arrived on time anyway. She is cheerful and down-to-earth, and just a lovely person overall to have in your home. Please call me anytime, if you have any more questions about Cheryl B and my experiences with her, at 310-963-5775. Thank you.
