I am looking for a family that I can work with full-time, long term. I don't want to be just a person hired by a family but become part of the family. Someone that the parents can rely on to be dependable. kind, caring, and nurturing. I am a volunteer as a CASA (court appointed special advocate) for foster children in Marion county. Basically I am the voice for the child(ren) on the cases that i am assigned to by the company i volunteer through. I have worked with various families throughout the years with children of all ages. I believe that education is paramount for children. I like teaching infants basic American Sign Language to help with initial communication before they are able to speak verbally. I also implement ideas for educational tools for young children. I have two kids that mean the world to me and I could not be more proud of them. My son, 17, graduates in June '18 and will be attending USI & my daughter, 15, graduates in December '18 and wants to attend college in LA, CA at FDIM. I have multiple families that I have cared for their children and I am happy to share their names and numbers if you require references. I have a reliable car and I have a clean driving record.
