I have babysat for children of all ages. Some of the children I have watched have had several disabilities. I personally have a two year old daughter. I breastfed her exclusively until she was 10 months old. I have an Associate's Degree in Elementary Education and plan on going back to school to get my Bachelor's Degree. Just recently I was a Special Education Assistant at an IPS school. There I really learned how much patience I had, I connected and worked well with all of the kids there. I am still CPI certified and hope to get recertified for CPR and First Aid. I love reading to children; I have found this helps with vocabulary. I also encourage outdoor play, games, music, and arts and crafts. I am open to helping clean up and I am completely comfortable around pets ( I have 3 dogs of my own).
