I may not have taken a traditional route as a full-time sitter or nanny, but I’ve been babysitting since I took a safe sitter course when I was years old. I continued babysitting on and off into high school. I volunteered in my local church childcare in college, and I nannied for a 3-year-old and a 6-month-old my final year. I have worked with different age groups following college, but I always seemed to find my way back to working with children. I also worked as an educator in DC, where I taught nutrition and environmental literacy in the classroom and the garden. I also love languages, having minored in French in college. I’m currently working my way through graduate degrees, and I believe nannying would be a rewarding way to do so.
