Hi! My name is Lauren. I am 23 years old, married and a step-mom to Chloe Grace, 6. I am looking for a fun, full-time nanny position! I have so many things I already love to do, but with kids, everything is 10x more fun! My very first, full-time job was as a childcare instructor at Connection Pointe Christian Daycare. I worked with newborns-13 year-olds for 7+ hours a day, five days a week, while also attending school. So you can say I find multi-tasking to be "fun" now! I have always loved kids, but when I inherited my step-daughter over 2 years ago, I knew I would absolutely love to work with them-as I, unfortunately, cannot have children myself. Growing up with 3 younger sisters, babysitting was my unofficial job from day 1. Being 14 years old, not quite able to have a job yet, I started babysitting for Read more whoever needed me. I had regular families for awhile, until I graduated high school, started college and passed those families onto my younger sister. I have worked with boys, girls, newborns, pre-teens (and every age in between), kids with special needs and kids just needing tutoring. Even though my step-daughter is not biologically mine, I am often the one doing most of the parenting and nurturing, while also maintaining the "discipline with love" motto I learned from my own, wonderful, Christian parents. I would love the opportunity to grow with a family, helping raise their child in a loving, fun, supportive environment. Nannying is so much more than babysitting often-it is about maintaining a relationship with the child(ren), teaching them valuable life lessons and letting them know they can do all of the above and still have lots of fun! :)
