I have been a daycare assistant in an in-home daycare for 7 years. I also worked as a self-employed babysitter in which I cared for children ages 0-3. I have 14 siblings so I know all too well how overwhelming and chaotic a single day can be - but have no fear.. I've had lots of practice and experience with such situations. I am also a Certified Nursing Assistant. I worked in a long-term care facility for a while and also did some in-home health care. My main priority as a CNA was to make sure each of my patients were truly living - not just breathing as in the surviving sense. I mean experiencing happiness, laughing, socializing, enjoying life, etc. Every person - whether young, old, or in between - deserves as much.
